What is Timber Market Analysis?

Timber Market Analysis is a systematic process for evaluating local wood baskets or timber markets. In this class, Forisk teaches a process and set of tools for those looking to engage with the data more directly.

Taught by Brooks Mendell, Amanda Lang, and Shawn Baker, the Timber Market Analysis Class walks through the process to understand, track, and analyze the price, demand, supply, and competitive dynamics of local timber markets and wood baskets through the use of case studies. It is divided into two half-days of content, where Day 2 builds on Day 1.

Attendees will receive digital course materials, including handouts and excel templates to conduct and deliver assessments of wood baskets and timber markets to clients and managers. Attendees also receive a PDF copy of the PowerPoint presentation used by the instructors.
