Kristi Leigh of KLTV.news witnessed taxis and uber drivers continuing to pick up illegal migrants from the facility. Leigh reported from the Rio Grande Valley in South Texas to document the consistent flow of illegal immigrants entering through the Catholic Charities of the RGV. Over 1,000 illegals come through the facility every day. Leigh also reported from outside a La Joya Whataburger restaurant where an illegal immigrant family was seen coughing and sneezing without facemasks, which concerned the staff. The family ended up being Covid-positive migrants being housed at a nearby hotel thanks to the Catholic charity organization.
