Well, after starting the season in decent form and having two consecutive weeks of landing two-out-of-three, we've suffered our first, and probably not last, dip in form...
Last week, we could only muster one-out-of-three, and perhaps the international week has come at the right time. We can regather our Premier League thoughts ready for next week.
This week, however, we're delving into the lower leagues, specifically League Two!
Let's get stuck in!
Bradford City vs Walsall
Our first pick comes from Valley Parade as Bradford host Walsall.
These two are at the opposite ends of the table - the hosts are chasing promotion, while their opponents are looking over their shoulder at the relegation spots.
Bradford have lost their last two games and they'll have to ensure that it's a blip. A very good start to the season had left them top of the table - with nine goals in their first four games.
Walsall's form is the opposite - three losses in the first four games, but they got their first win of the season last weekend over Stevenage.
We think the home advantage could swing the game Bradford's way, so we're going for a Bantams win at 7/10.
Exeter City vs Forest Green Rovers
Our second pick comes from the clash between Exeter and league leaders Forest Green.
Despite sitting pretty at the top of League Two, Forest Green have lost their last three games in all competitions. Exeter, meanwhile, are unbeaten in their last three games in the league (W1 D2).
Neither club was able to pick up a victory against each other during the 2020-21 campaign, which makes this contest all the more intriguing.
Forest Green narrowly missed out on promotion last season, and will no doubt be looking at getting things done automatically this time around. Therefore, games like this they need to be winning.
We're going to side with the league leaders here at 7/5.
Port Vale vs Rochdale
Our final pick comes from Vale Park, as Port Vale welcome Rochdale.
Both sides started the season in poor form, but they've picked that up over the past few weeks to climb the table.
Port Vale are unbeaten in their last four league games, after suffering an opening-day defeat to Northampton.
Rochdale, on the other hand, have won one, drawn one, and lost one in their last three games in the league. However, their most recent match was an impressive 4-0 triumph over Liverpool's Under-21s side in the EFL Trophy.
Again, a tough one to call, so we're going to stick with the home side at 6/5.
Summary
Bradford to beat Walsall
Forest Green to beat Exeter
Port Vale to beat Rochdale
Trader's special price for the treble - 9/1!
