West Ham manager David Moyes is expecting a "huge crowd" to be in attendance at the London Stadium for their Europa League group stage clash with Rapid Vienna on Thursday (West Ham 2/9, Draw 11/2 Rapid Vienna 12/1 - Match Result).
The Group H contest will represent West Ham's first home fixture in a European competition, excluding qualifiers, since 2006, and they will head into the match full of confidence following their 2-0 victory at Dinamo Zagreb on Matchday One.
Moyes is certainly looking forward to the occasion and he believes there will be a bumper crowd in attendance to welcome the return of European football to the London Stadium.
"It's incredibly exciting," the Scot told reporters. "It's an achievement that the players put an enormous amount of work in to reach. We'll have a huge crowd here for a Europa League group-stage game."
West Ham will fancy their chances of making it two wins from two in this season's competition, as they will be facing a Rapid side that have lost four of their last five games, but Moyes is refusing to underestimate the Austrian outfit.
"We've watched them closely and we'll give them all the respect. They have more experience than us in Europe in recent times, so we have to be really careful of that," he added.
Leicester will also be in Europa League action on Thursday, with Brendan Rodgers' side, who surrendered a two-goal lead to draw 2-2 with Napoli on Matchday One, facing a testing looking encounter with Group C leaders Legia Warsaw in Poland (Legia Warsaw 9/2, Draw 16/5, Leicester 8/13 - Match Result).
The Foxes have won just once in five matches across all competitions and Rodgers has confirmed key trio Jonny Evans, Wilfred Ndidi and Kelechi Iheanacho will all miss the contest at Stadion Wojska Polskiego.
In the Europa Conference League, misfiring Tottenham will be looking to return to winning ways when they play host to Slovenian champions NS Mura (Tottenham 1/16, Draw 17/2, NS Mura 22/1 - Match Result).
The pressure has been mounting on Spurs boss Nuno Espirito Santo following a run of three straight Premier League defeats, but the Portuguese is not concerned by any such criticism.
"The criticism is normal," Nuno told reporters. "Everybody knows how this industry works. When you don't play good, when you don't perform and results don't go your way, criticism is something you have to deal with. We understand it and it's up to us to react and change it."
