AC Milan boss Stefano Pioli has hailed Roma as a side with "great character" ahead of the pair's meeting at the San Siro on Sunday evening (Match Betting - Roma 11/8, Draw 12/5, Milan 19/10).
The Rossoneri head to the San Siro sitting second in the standings, level on points with Napoli, who take on Salernitana at 17:00 (Match Betting - Salernitana 9/1, Draw 9/2, Napoli 2/7).
Roma are the only team to take anything off the Partenopei in Serie A this season and Pioli knows his side are in for a real battle, especially as Jose Mourinho has only lost two of his seven career meetings against Milan.
"Roma are one of the few sides unbeaten at home and the only team to have stopped Napoli up to this point," he told reporters. "They're a strong side and second to none in terms of quality, while they also have great character."
In La Liga, champions Atletico Madrid welcome Real Betis to the Metropolitano at 15:15 (Match Betting - Atletico 4/7, Draw 3/1, Betis 5/1). Los Colchoneros have failed to win their last three games in all competitions, while Betis are unbeaten in four.
However, the game which really catches the eye in Spain is the Basque derby as Athletic Bilbao head east along the AP-8 to take on Real Sociedad.
Sociedad are unbeaten since the opening weekend and took two wins and a draw from the pair's three meetings last term, including the rescheduled 2019-20 Copa del Rey final (Match Betting - Sociedad 6/5, Draw 21/10, Bilbao 13/5).
The eighth-placed Los Leones sit seven points and five places behind their hosts but are unbeaten in four, drawing at Espanyol on Tuesday.
Finally to the Bundesliga, with four sides in the bottom half are in action. At 14:30, 16th placed Augsburg host Stuttgart, who sit 13th (Match Betting - Augsburg 15/8, Draw 11/5, Stuttgart 6/4).
Two hours later, Borussia Monchengladbach, currently 12th, will hope their midweek 5-0 DFB-Pokal victory over Bayern Munich can ignite their season as they host Bochum (Match Betting - Monchengladbach 4/11, Draw 4/1, Bochum 7/1).
