We hate to say we told you so but...

...we told you so!

Before Storm Arwen forced the show off air for three nights, we said we had a "sneaky feeling" that new arrival at the time Simon Gregson "may leapfrog David [Ginola] as the betting favourite in the next few days."

Well, Simon is currently the 5/2 outright favourite at Betfred to be King of the Jungle, ahead of David at 11/4, after just a couple of televised days in camp.

It's not all rosy on the predictions front, however, as we did also say in a very early piece that Naughty Boy (25/1) was a "dark horse" for the show. Swings and roundabouts.

Speaking of Naughty Boy, he got himself in another little camp spat last night- again about cooking. After Kadeena Cox (50/1) and Arlene Phillips (100/1) won ten stars in Tuesday night's trial, they were rewarded with a lovely bit of oxtail. Naughty Boy took up the role of chef, and didn't take too kindly to Kadeena's suggestion on how to cut through the bone.

It was all sorted in the end, but we're not sure it's done the music producer's popularity many favours.

Who's taking on the next bushtucker trial, "Savage Stakeout", tonight? Unsurprisingly it's Naughty Boy, after his meltdown when last being voted, threatening to quit the show (again!). This should be fun.

What else happened last night? David and Louise Minchin (25/1) brought some apple pies back to camp after a successful Castle Coin Challenge, while Frankie Bridge (5/1) told us she finds passing wind in her sleeping bag "satisfying". It's great to be back.

Elsewhere in the betting, Snoochie Shy (15/2) is proving popular, while Danny Miller (12/1) and Adam Woodyatt are there or thereabouts - and Matty Lee (20/1) is seeing a slow but steady rise.
