The second day of 2022 sees four race meetings taking place in the UK and Ireland with action from Plumpton, Ayr, Newcastle and Naas.
Newcastle's all-weather meeting is the first to get underway at 11:55 with seven races scheduled in the north east, finishing up after the 15:15.
Plumpton's seven-race card is next to start, with the first event due off at 12:08 and the finale scheduled for 15:30.
In the opener at the East Sussex venue, Aucunrisque (13/8) is expected to contend after he won a bumper to start the season well at Stratford and was then second on hurdles debut over this C&D last month.
Betfred's 'Extra Place' promotion features in the 14:20 from Plumpton today, the feature race of the day there, the Sky Sports Racing Sussex National Handicap Chase, in which 15 runners will go to post.
This presents a stiff stamina test, run over the extended 3m4f trip, with the unexposed chaser Pemberley, who won for the first time over fences at Warwick (3m) last month, set to head the market at 9/2.
Emma Lavelle's charge must overcome his 6lb rise in the ratings in what looks like being a competitive affair in which the likes of Eclair De Guye (5/1), with Bryony Frost on board, and I See You Well (13/2) others to note.
In Scotland, the meeting at Ayr is due to start at 12:15, and Betfred's 'Extra Place' offer is live in the second race at 12:45, in which Goodtimes Badtimes (9/4) is hoping to follow up a decent second at Newcastle last time out with victory in this 15-strong contest.
Finally, in Ireland, the action at Naas begins at 12:30 and there are seven races taking place, finishing up with the 15:50.
