Hull KR (25/1 Grand Final Winner) sealed their sixth successive win across all competitions, beating Wakefield Trinity on Saturday, while Warrington Wolves earned a morale-boosting victory over Huddersfield Giants.
The Robins are enjoying their best run of form since 2009 after Saturday's 32-10 triumph over Wakefield extended their winning streak to six.
Scores from Kane Linnett, Lachlan Coote and Shaun Kenny-Dowall had them leading 16-0 at half time, before Ethan Ryan added t their advantage with a double early in the second period.
Jacob Miller and Lewis Murphy helped to reduce the arrears but Ryan Hall and Linnett hit back for KR to round off a hugely successful day.
Head coach Tony Smith (pictured), who announced this week that he will be leaving at the end of the season, said: "To get three wins over those seven days is a great accomplishment by the players. They dug deep. It's not been easy by any means, particularly the Toulouse game over there.

"We played pretty fresh today for large parts. It's easier to energise a team that's won a couple."
Saturday's other Betfred Super League encounter also ended 32-10 as Josh Thewlis' hat-trick helped Warrington earn an impressive home win over high-flying Huddersfield.
Warrington boss Daryl Powell said: "I thought Thewlis was class. He's got a real eye and an instinct for the game.
"I just felt we had complete control of the game."
There's another double-header on Sunday with second-placed Wigan Warriors playing host to Salford Red Devils at 13:00 (Match Betting - Wigan 1/10, Draw 25/1, Salford 7/1), while third-placed Catalans Dragons travel to Hull FC at 18:45 (Match Betting - Hull FC 7/5, Draw 20/1, Catalans 8/13).
Wigan (6/1 Grand Final Winner) and Catalans (3/1) have the opportunity to move level on points with St Helens (10/11) after the table-toppers tasted defeat at Castleford on Friday.
The Warriors have yet to lose at home this term and they will be boosted by the returns of Liam Marshall and Iain Thornley to the starting lineup following injury.
Catalans also have a key figure back in their ranks as forward Julian Bousquet returns from injury, however, Mike McMeeken and Sam Tomkins remain in the treatment room.
