Mark Williams produced a stunning display at the Betfred World Championship on Friday to put himself right back in contention in his semi-final showdown with Judd Trump (Williams 3/1, Trump 1/4 - Match Result).
Williams' hopes of reaching the final at The Crucible in Sheffield looked like they were dashed after the Welshmen fell behind 7-1 against his English opponent.
Three-time world champion Williams then trailed Judd 12-5 before an impressive potting display saw him finish play at 13-11 down.
Being able to produce five winning frames on the spin will have given confidence going into what is set to be an intriguing day's play on Saturday in South Yorkshire.

Scotland's Higgins did lead the contest 6-5 at one stage, but some impressive frames from O'Sullivan (10/11 Betfred World Championship outright) saw the Englishman open up a 10-6 lead going into Saturday's play.
It was an unfortunate afternoon for Higgins on Friday, as O'Sullivan pounced on any chances that came his way.
Higgins (14/1 Betfred World Championship outright) was unlucky to see a red inadvertently drop in when he was going for a brown, while he saw the cue ball drop in the 10th frame after potting a black.
Higgins will be hoping his fortunes change on Saturday, as all four players look to secure those coveted final two places.
