The Whites are set to be without striker Patrick Bamford once again, while Adam Forshaw and Tyler Roberts are also unavailable.
City will welcome back Joao Cancelo but defensive pair John Stones and Kyle Walker are sidelined with hamstring and ankle issues respectively.
All eyes will be on the north east at 12:30 when Liverpool travel to an in-form Newcastle and the visitors will again be without Roberto Firmino.
