Wakefield Trinity boss Willie Poching says one win for his side would give them a "massive boost" as they take on Hull FC on Sunday (Match Betting - Wakefield 19/10, Hull FC 4/9, tie 22/1).
The West Yorkshire side are currently 11th in the table, only two points above bottom side Toulouse after winning just three games this season.
With Warrington Wolves four points above them in tenth, it is already looking like a two-horse race to avoid the drop down to the Championship.
Wakefield have lost each of their last six games and one of them was against Toulouse so a win over the Black and Whites would be very gratefully received.
Brett Hodgson's men currently lie fifth in the table and they go into this contest on the back of an impressive 31-22 victory over Challenge Cup winners Wigan.
Despite the form book being against them, Poching is convinced only one win can turn their season around.

"We're in a position where we're in control of everything still," said the Trinity head coach.
"We've got to go out and try to collect the two points that are on offer every single week. We start to get a couple and we give ourselves a buffer and some breathing space.
"A win would just give us a massive boost. That's what we're fighting hard for."
Meanwhile, Sunday's other Betfred Super League contest sees Hull KR host Salford Red Devils at Craven Park (Match Betting - Hull KR 4/7, Salford 6/4, tie 22/1).
The Robins are currently seventh in the table but their form has slipped, particularly since coach Tony Smith announced he would be leaving at the end of the season.
Rovers have lost four games in a row in all competitions and have scored only 12 points in that run.
Salford travel to Humberside on the back of successive wins over Leeds Rhinos and Castleford Tigers.
