Six players share the lead after the first round of the Memorial Tournament at Muirfield Village, but Hideki Matsuyama's weekend is already over after he was disqualified on Thursday (Matsuyama 33/1 to win the US Open).
The world number 12 was removed from the event due to illegal markings on his fairway wood, which breached rule 4.1a, which prohibits the use of a non-conforming club.
Matsuyama was three over when he was told to stop playing on the 10th tee, and he will now watch on as the rest of the field try to get their hands on the trophy.
Australia's Cameron Smith is among six players at five-under-par in Ohio, sharing the lead with South Korea's K.H. Lee and Canada's Mackenzie Hughes as well as American trio Cameron Young, Luke List and Davis Riley.

Home favourites Will Zalatoris (12/1 Outright), Denny McCarthy, Sahith Theegala, and Wyndham Clark complete the top ten after round one, with all four players tied seventh on four-under-par.
Smith (7/1 Outright), who won the Players Championship in March, says the opening 18 holes were "a little bit of a grind", and he expects the course to play harder as the weekend goes on.
He told Sky Sports: "I had to make a few good pars on that last nine - for me, the front nine," said Smith. "It was just good to kind of hang in there, make a few birdies, see a few putts going in. I think this is about as easy as this place is going to get today.
"I think it's going to be a lot of stressful golf and a lot of grinding over the weekend. It's nice to kind of take the box there early in the week."
