Wales boss Rob Page says he will select an under-strength team to face Poland in their opening Nations League match at Poland (Match Betting - Poland 7/10, draw 13/5, Wales 4/1) with their crucial World Cup play off qualifier at the weekend.
Just 90 minutes potentially separates Wales from their first World Cup appearance since 1958 though they have a couple of recent showings at the Euros under their belts.
They will face either Scotland or Ukraine, who go head to head at Hampden Park on Wednesday evening.
As a result, the Nations League has become a secondary concern to Page and his squad with an experimental line up expected.
Wales find themselves in League A, with Poland, Belgium, and the Netherlands completing a tough-looking group.

They travel to Poland having not won since 1973 - seven winless contests have passed for them.
And, they may find this one tougher than usual as well with captain Gareth Bale and midfielder Aaron Ramsey expected to be among those who will not travel.
Nottingham Forest attacker Brennan Johnson and Huddersfield Town wide man Sorba Thomas are unlikely to feature with both playing in the Championship play off final just gone this weekend.
However, Page says it is the correct approach to go with and reckons the watching Welsh public will back his choices.
"Most of the supporters back home will anticipate what we are going to do," he said.
"It's a common-sense approach to a big game on Sunday. There's no hiding behind that and I'm not going to make any apologies for that whatsoever.
"We have not been in this position since 1958 so one eye is on that.
"We know we are up against strong opposition but there will be a team selected with a common sense approach."
