The racing week begins with four meetings across the UK on Monday, with Jumps fare from Southwell, while they run on the level at Pontefract, Musselburgh and Windsor.
Southwell is our first port of call for a seven-race card that goes to post from 13:00-16:00, with the Cazoo Novices' Handicap Hurdle at 15:00 benefiting from Betfred's 'Extra Place' promotion.
The Sign Solutions Mares' Handicap Hurdle at 15:30 is also worth looking out for, as Do Ya Feel Lucky (7/4) appears well placed to follow up from a recent win at Worcester for David Pipe, with the step up in trip also likely to suit.
There is also an afternoon start for the first of the day's meetings on the Flat, as Pontefract is set to stage seven races from 13:45-16:45, with the opener seeing the 'Extra Place' promotion from Betfred once again come into play.
Latest Horse Racing Events
Mondays during the height of summer would not be the same without a card from Windsor and the Berkshire track hosts seven races from 17:15-20:15, with the finale benefiting from Betfred's 'Super Extra Place' offer, meaning they are paying out four places rather than the usual three.
Strategic Fortune (7/2) and English Spirit (7/2) are expected to be among the main contenders in that race, as they bid to replicate their winning form from the all-weather on the Windsor turf.
The final meeting of the day comes from north of the border from Musselburgh, where seven races will be contested between 18:00-21:00, with Betfred's 'Extra Place' promotion again being available, this time for the races at 18:30 and 21:00.
Diamond Haze (5/2) could be the one to beat in the latter of those races for trainer Michael Dods, as he will be off just a 2lb higher mark following his victory at Thirsk last month.
