The first day back following the rest day was a thriller and after the drama of Magnus Cort's win to Megeve, the Tour de France heads into the high Alps for Wednesday's 151.7km Stage 11 from Albertville to the Col du Granon.
Cort lit up the first week with his daring breaks to earn the King of the Mountains jersey and was at it again on Tuesday as he pipped Australia's Nicholas Schulz to the line.
There was another story on Stage 11 as Lennard Kamna almost took the yellow jersey and the German, now second in the general classification, could find himself in a similar situation on Wednesday.

Race leader Tadej Pogacar (1/2 Tour outright) and his Team UAE Emirates outfit seemed content to let Kamna take the jersey potentially in order to give themselves a few days off from having to patrol the peloton and Bora-Hansgrohe would have gladly taken the responsibility.
Pogacar is sure to be involved in the business end of the race and Kamna could also be up there, as if he gets in the breakaway, the flat start to the stage means he could be surrounded by non-climbers, leaving him with the chance to dominate over the big ascents.
And, there are certainly plenty of those on Stage 11, with the Category One Col du Telegraphe setting things up for the hors categorie, literally 'beyond categorisation', pair of the Col du Galibier and the closing Col du Granon.
This is only the second time the Granon has featured in the Tour, the first being 1986, and Poagacar is the 5/2 favourite to win a third stage of this year's race, with Jonas Vingegaard, currently third in the standings at 39 seconds behind the Slovenian, 4/1 to triumph.
Kamna is 40/1, while Groupama-FDJ's Thibaut Pinot is 7/1 and Vingegaard's Jumbo-Visma's teammate Primoz Roglic, 18/1.
