Two-out-of-three - again!!
Luck just isn't on our side at the moment! Last week, we landed another two-out-of-three, meaning that's three weeks on the bounce we've been one result away from landing our first treble of the season!
Everton's draw with Nottingham Forest was what let us down, but we're knocking on the door so hopefully this week they let us in!
(Prices may fluctuate between time of writing and game time, dependent on market activity)
Southampton vs Manchester United
We're starting with the early kick-off at St. Mary's between Southampton and Man Utd.
The Saints got their first win of the season away at Leicester last week, as did United with a brilliant win over Liverpool.
If United play how they did against Jurgen Klopp's side, then there's only one winner here. But, history tells you that this United side struggle with consistently putting in those fantastic performances.
I've always thought Southampton are a bogey team of United's too - three out of the last four games between the sides at St. Mary's have resulted in a draw.
Both games between the sides ended 1-1 last season, so I think another draw at 16/5 is a reasonable shout here.
Brighton & Hove Albion vs Leeds United
Our second pick comes from the 3pm clash between Brighton and Leeds at the Amex Stadium.
It should be a cracker, this one. Both sides have made excellent starts to their respective campaigns, with seven points from a possible nine.
After a ninth-placed finish last year, Brighton have picked up from where they left off, with a 0-0 draw at home against Newcastle United sandwiched by impressive away wins at Manchester United and West Ham United.
Meanwhile, I think many were fearful for Leeds after losing Kalvin Phillips and Raphina, but they've made some smart signings, and the 3-0 victory over Chelsea last weekend felt a performance that we saw in their first season back in the top flight under Marcelo Bielsa.
However, there are still question marks surrounding Leeds' defensive resilience, having thrown away a two-goal lead in their last away game at Southampton.
We're siding with a Brighton win here, at 17/20.
Arsenal vs Fulham
Our final pick comes from the 5.30pm kick-off, as Arsenal host Fulham.
The Gunners are bidding for their fourth straight win, after picking up nine points from a possible nine, while Fulham have also made an unbeaten start, picking up five points in their opening three games.
Arsenal have started the campaign in spectacular fashion, currently top of the table as the only side to boast a 100% record at this stage.
This will be a tough game for Fulham but they rose to the occasion on the opening weekend against Liverpool, and proved that they can upset the big boys.
The two sides last met back in April 2021, which resulted in a 1-1 draw. However, the Cottagers haven't beaten their London rivals since January 2012.
Arsenal win for us, at 3/10.
Summary
Southampton and Man Utd to be a draw
Brighton to beat Leeds
Arsenal to beat Fulham
Our trader's special price for the treble - 10/1!
