The final Grand Slam of the tennis calendar is just around the corner.
Two weeks of top-class tennis from Flushing Meadows – it always delivers.
The men's field looks competitive as ever, with Daniil Medvedev (5/2) looking to defend his crown.
For the first time in three years Rafael Nadal (5/1) will be touching down in New York and will be aiming to extend his advantage over rival Novak Djokovic in total number of major singles titles won.
Djokovic announced via social media that he's unable to compete in Flushing Meadows this year due to the Serbian's vaccination status and the United States' entry requirements.
Also set to miss out on the action are Roger Federer, who is due to return from injury at next month's Laver Cup, and Alexander Zverev due to an injury sustained at Roland Garros earlier this year.
The omission of Djokovic and Zverev opens the field to the likes of Stefanos Tsitsipas (12/1), who just recently made the final of the Cincinnati Masters, and Wimbledon finalist Nick Kyrgios (7/1).

On the women's side, headlining the event is the news that this Grand Slam could possibly be the last competitive tennis tournament that 23-time major winner Serena Williams (28/1) will ever play.
In an article in Vogue magazine earlier this month, the 41-year-old announced her intentions to retire. Williams said she was "evolving away" from the sport to grow her family.
Will it be the fairy-tale ending?
Defending champion Emma Raducanu (16/1) will have something to say about it, and she recently beat Williams at the Cincinnati Masters.
Iga Swiatek is the betting favourite at 9/2, and she started the year in fine form, going 37 matches undefeated and wining the French Open. However, she lost in the third round at Wimbledon and has struggled to regain form since.
Simona Halep is the second favourite at 7/1, and she'll be looking to go on another big run at a major after reaching the semi-finals at Wimbledon.
