The Premier League returns after a long international break and first up we've got an absolute beauty of a North London Derby in the early kick off. The Emirates is the venue for top-of-the-table Arsenal taking on their bitter rivals Tottenham Hotspur, who sit just below them in 3rd spot. We've previewed the game and provided you with our two best bets.
Arsenal vs Spurs Tips
North London derbies are always huge but this one looks particularly important. Arsenal have started like a runaway train, suffering just the one defeat at Manchester United and sit top of the Premier League. It's the best start they've had since the 2004/05 season and Gooners fans will be dreaming about the impossible at the end of the campaign.
Spurs have also started equally well and are one of only two unbeaten sides in the league, alongside champions Manchester City. A win here would see Tottenham leapfrog their fierce rivals and sit atop the Premier League summit. Whilst they have flattered to deceive at times, Antonio Conte will be massively satisfied with their consistency and ability to grind results out.
Arsenal line up the even money favourite at the time of writing, Spurs can be had at 12/5 and the draw is available at 5/2.
Team news:
Mikel Arteta is still without the injured Emile Smith Rowe, Mohamed Elneny and Reiss Nelson and has doubts over Kieran Tierney, Oleksander Zinchenko, Thomas Partey and Cedric Soares.
Conte will likely be without Dejan Kulusevski, which will allow for a recall of 13-minute hat trick hero Heung-Min Son alongside Harry Kane and Richarlison. Lucas Moura definitely misses out while there will be late assessments for Ben Davies and keeper Hugo Lloris.
Football Betting Odds
Arsenal to win and BTTS - 5/2
I expect this to be an extremely close game, both sides are full of confidence right now but I'm taking Arsenal to just edge it with the home advantage. I can't see The Gunners preventing Spurs from scoring with a front three of Kane, Son and Richarlison and they've seen BTTS hit in five of their last seven games in all competitions.
Gabriel Jesus to be carded - 7/2
Jesus has been superb for Arsenal so far this season and is their leading scorer, with four in the league. However, Arteta's high pressing system requires Jesus to be all-action and constantly on the move up front and that has led to regular bookings, with four cautions already dished out to the Brazilian. The 7/2 is a market-leading price at the time of writing.
