The Dallas Cowboys (6/5 to win the NFC East - outright) appear to be the team to beat in the NFC East as they look to improve their record as the most successful side in the division.
The Cowboys cruised to the top of the standings in 2021 to clinch their 24th crown, the most in NFC East history.
As it stands, Philadelphia Eagles may be the only organisation in with a chance of catching them, with both New York Giants and Washington Commanders still finding their feet after recent sweeping changes across the board.
Dallas Cowboys
Quarterback Dak Prescott has lost wide receivers Amari Cooper and Cedrick Wilson Jr, meaning CeeDee Lamb will need to increase his workload.
Running back Ezekiel Elliott ran for 1,000 yards once again last season, but the offensive line has lost Tyron Smith to injury.
Defensively, the Cowboys have stayed relatively intact, but they will need to prove they can handle the pressure once they get to the playoffs, which should be a realistic possibility.
New York Giants
The Giants (9/1 to win the NFC East - outright)have a new coach at the helm in Brian Daboll, but he needs to get more out of QB Daniel Jones.
Running back Saquon Barkley could only muster four touchdowns and 593 rushing yards in 2021, but there is hope that new defensive end Kayvon Thibodeaux can change their fortunes once he recovers from injury.
Daboll's side are likely to be on the wrong end of the result in most of their fixtures, but the plan is a long-term one at the MetLife Stadium.

Philadelphia Eagles
At odds of 6/4, the Eagles have every chance of winning the NFC East for the first time since 2019.
The Eagles ended 2021 with a 9-8 record, and QB Jalen Hurts could improve further with more experience.
Philadelphia have the best offensive line in the league, according to some experts, while they improved their defence in the draft.
Overall the Eagles' roster has improved since last season, so there is no reason why they cannot kick on under coach Nick Sirianni.
Washington Commanders
Washington (11/2 to win the NFC East - outright) have put their faith in Carson Wentz at QB, despite his failure to take the Colts into the playoffs in 2021.
Wentz will have Terry McLaurin at his disposal, though, so that should at least work in his favour.
Chase Young will once again lead the defence once he recovers from his knee injury after the first month of the season. The Commanders' defence was a little underwhelming in 2021, but if they click Washington should be able to leave the Giants in their wake.
