Premier League Betting Odds: Lampard looking to Toffees to copy home crowd

Frank Lampard has urged his Everton players to channel the spirit shown by their fans when they take on Liverpool in the first Merseyside derby of the season at 12:30 (Match Result - Everton 15/2, Draw 4/1, Liverpool 2/5).

The Toffees are still to win in the Premier League this term and are the underdogs to get one over on their local rivals, who they have beaten just once since 2010.

New signings James Garner and the returning Idrissa Gana Gueye could both feature on Saturday and the spirit those two have shown in their careers could further fire up a Goodison Park crowd who often create an electric atmosphere.

Lampard wants his players to feed off the fans and transfer the energy they show in the stands onto the pitch.

"We'll have a home crowd behind us before the game and during the game," he said. "We have to perform with the same passion they're going to turn up with."

There are no fewer than eight Premier League games on Saturday, with six kicking off at 15:00.

Two are London derbies, as Chelsea host West Ham (Match Result - Chelsea 4/7, Draw 10/3, West Ham 5/1) and Fulham travel to Tottenham (Match Result - Tottenham 8/15, Draw 7/2, Fulham 11/2).

Premier League Betting Odds

Bournemouth continue life without a manager as interim coach Gary O'Neil takes his team to fellow newly-promoted side Nottingham Forest (Match Betting - Nottingham Forest 11/10, Draw 12/5, Bournemouth 11/4).

Leeds will hope to repeat their final day heroics from last season as they return to Brentford (Match Result - Brentford 6/5, Draw 13/5, Leeds 12/5), while Wolves welcome Southampton to Molineux (Match Result - Wolves 6/5, Draw 5/2, Southampton 5/2).

The other game at three o'clock comes from St James' Park, where Newcastle will hope to hit back after Wednesday's last-gasp defeat at Liverpool against a well-drilled Crystal Palace side (Match Result - Newcastle Evens, Draw 5/2, Palace 3/1).

Ahead of the late game, Ruben Dias has challenged Manchester City to approach every match as if the Premier League title is on the line, as they prepare to take on Aston Villa (Match Result - Aston Villa 8/1, Draw 5/1, Man City 1/3).

The Citizens are second in the standings behind Arsenal after five games and head to Villa Park on the back of Wednesday's 6-0 win over Nottingham Forest.

In contrast, Villa have lost their last three, most recently going down 2-1 to the Gunners and the pressure is on boss Steven Gerrard to turn things around after a busy summer in the transfer market.

On paper, it looks like it could be a comfortable evening for Pep Guardiola's men but Dias says the competitive nature of the Premier League means they won't be taking anything for granted at 17:30.

"The Premier League is the Premier League and sometimes you will get a surprise because the teams are very good," he said. "You can see by the transfer market that everyone is getting top players. That is just a little demonstration of the strength of the league and each team.

"For that reason, you just need to play like you are playing the last five games you need to win to be champions every time. You need to have that awareness that now counts as much as the end.

"I think the most important factor is to think that everything can change if you let it. If you relax, everything can change very quickly."
