Lionel Messi to score anytime (1st half)
The Paris Saint-Germain star has scored twice for his nation already, and could have had a third against Poland, but his spot-kick was saved by Wojciech Szczesny.
I think it's fair to say that Messi hasn't lit up the World Cup like maybe many of us expected him to, but it would be foolish to write him off. He's certainly more than capable of producing some magic here that would spearhead his country into the quarter-finals.
I think there's more value in backing him to score in the first half, as I expect Argentina to try and start quickly and take their foot off the gas in the second half, and potentially rest players.
Argentina to win to nil
Australia have given a good account of themselves in their past two games, but I think Argentina will have too much for them here.
This looks like a step too far for Australia and whilst I expect Argentina to get the job done, they are yet to hit top gear in Qatar. Clean sheets win World Cups, and they have kept back-to-back clean sheets in their previous two encounters against Mexico and Poland.
Team Booking Points - Australia Over 29.5
Graham Arnold's side picked up two bookings against Denmark, and three against France, so I think the total booking points market is worth taking a look at.
I'm expecting Australia to be on the back foot for the majority of the game, and with the pace that Argentina possess, I could see the Socceroos stopping a few counter attacks here and there.
Total Goals - Under 3.5
All three of Argentina's group games have seen under 3.5 goals scored, as well as two of Australia's - the only exception was the Socceroo's 4-1 defeat to France.
As mentioned above, Argentina have kept two clean sheets - as have the Aussies - so I can't imagine there to be many goals in this game.
