Match Result - Serbia win
I have both sides fairly evenly-matched on what we've seen so far in Qatar, but there's one thing that swings it in favour of the Serbians for me - goals.
Switzerland have only managed to score one in their two games so far. Worse than that, they've managed an underwhelming three shots on target in 180+ minutes of football.
Serbia boast three goals and five shots on target, which admittedly isn't all that inspiring either, but I think they have that extra bit of quality, especially in front of goal, that can see them over the line here and give them a real chance of making the knockout stages of the competition.
Sergej Milinkovic-Savic to score anytime
'SMS' has above-average goal-scoring stats for a midfielder. He's bagged in every competition he's played in so far this season, including when claiming Serbia's second in the 3-3 draw with Cameroon to take his record for the season to 8 in 37.
He's scored three in 13 competitive games for his nation this campaign, and given I think this is going to be a rather open, expansive game of football, I expect him to be at the heart a lot of what Serbia do in front of goal.
Granit Xhaka to be carded
It roughly works out that Granit Xhaka gets booked once every four games. Well, he's yet to pick up a card at this World Cup, so I'm thinking his time is due.
As I said before, I'm expecting an open game here, full of action at both ends. Xhaka will no doubt be fired up with the chance of sending his country into the knockout stages of the competition, and as we know from watching him in England for the last few years, often he fails to contain himself.
Fingers crossed this is the day he gets his name written into the referee's book.
