Our attention on this frost-ridden Thursday is on the seven-race card at Taunton - and we've got a couple of tips for you.
Starting with BRENTFORD HOPE at 11/10 in the 1.35 - a novices' hurdle over an extended two miles.
Richard Hughes' five-year-old was a hugely popular Flat horse who reached a lofty mark of 107 in that sphere, and so he was all the rage ahead of his jumping debut at Ludlow in November.
He finished a respectable second by six lengths to a promising one for Charlie Longsdon - a run that, for me at least, offered plenty of enthusiasm for the future.
The son of Camelot was keen early, not fluent at a couple of hurdles and hardly given the toughest time up the home straight. I thought it was a great learning experience that he'll come on for big time.
His main rival this afternoon is Rubaud for the red-hot combination of Paul Nicholls and Harry Cobden.
Given the manner in which he won on reappearance - winning a maiden hurdle over course and distance by 8L, in a canter - I suppose he's in the 'could be anything' bracket, but not only did he get everything his own way that day, the form is also working out horribly.
This looks tougher for him, and I think that 7lb penalty makes him vulnerable. Hopefully 'Brentford' can take advantage under Brendan Powell.

Lastly, I'm chancing ZACONY REBEL at 3/1 in the 0-130 handicap chase over 2m2f at 2.08.
I'm very keen to take on the favourite Huelgoat here. He's been on the go all summer, and his latest run suggested all that racing, or his handicap mark, has caught up with him.
I also think Midnight Midge is best left, given he looked set to finish a remote second before the leader fell in his reappearance win over course and distance a few weeks ago.
Zacony Rebel has top-weight to deal with, but that's not undeserved for his best form is clear of everything else in this field.
I also think the step back to 2m2f will suit perfectly, as he just seemed to get outpaced last time out over 2m.
I'm also a big fan of Tom Cannon who rides the selection this afternoon - hopefully he can get this one over the line for us.
