U.S. Air Marshals are planning to stage a mutiny against the Biden regime over its plan to pull them from flights and send them to the southern border to care for illegal aliens.
The Biden regime order will strip 99% of air marshals from commercial flights during the busiest time of the year for air travel in order to send them to the southern border to make up for the border patrol staffing shortage.
"The rank-and-file air marshals are going to refuse to deploy and risk termination," David Londo, president of the Air Marshal National Council, recently told the Washington Examiner. "You're almost going to have a mutiny of a federal agency, which is unheard of."
"Morale is so destroyed by this," Londo said. "I've never seen anything like this."
In a letter to DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, Transportation Security Administration Administrator David Pekoske, and Federal Air Marshal Service Director Tirrell Stevenson, Londo outlined several incidents that occurred on flights that were not immediately resolved due to the absence of a federal air marshal on board.
"Your policy of forcing FAMs to deploy to the southern border is extremely concerning given the time of year and the recent incidents of violence on American-flagged aircraft," he wrote.
"According to the Federal Aviation Administration year to date there have been 2,178 reports of unruly passengers, 767 investigations initiated, and 517 enforcement actions taken. Not to mention the fact there has been two attempted attacks on our homeland since 9-11 during the holiday season."
Londo also explained that instead of doing their assigned duty of protecting the skies, "highly skilled" air marshals are being forced to carry out "non-law enforcement civilian humanitarian duties" like "heating up sandwiches," driving the aliens around, waiting in hospitals, and babysitting.
"As it stands today, we believe that many FAMs [federal air marshals] will refuse to deploy, believing the order is reckless and leaving our country vulnerable to attack. In at least one case, a FAM is being told he has to deploy even though he informed the agency he has no childcare. The agencies only response has been that he will get written up and face termination," he wrote.
"Your policy has resulted in a complete loss of confidence in Secretary Mayorkas, FAM Director Stevenson, and Administrator Pekoske's ability to lead DHS/TSA/FAMS," Londo added.
Since Biden captured the White House, over 5 million illegal aliens have crossed into the southern border, which has overwhelmed border patrol.
"Morale is in the toilet. I mean, I've been here 20 going on 21 years. I've never seen it this bad," National Border Patrol Council spokesman Chris Cabrera told Fox News Digital in June.
"When you have all we have going on now with the administration just flat out calling our guys racists with the stuff that happened out in Eagle Pass or Del Rio when you're allowing people to come over and in a sense just flaunt the rules right in your face, we're not doing what we're hired to do," he added.
