With just under two months to go until the 2023 Cheltenham Festival, the Mares' Chase market is all about a pair of 13/8 favourites.
Willie Mullins' Allegorie De Vassy is one of them. She's been a revelation over fences this season, taking her high class hurdles form to the next level.
After a couple of emphatic 19L victories in Grade Two contests at Limerick and Thurles in December and January respectively, the penultimate race on Gold Cup day at the Festival looks her next assignment.
Her jumping could use a little bit of work, but the six-year-old daughter of No Risk At All has a massive engine, plenty of class and tremendous scope. I think she's very good indeed.
Rivalling her at the head of the betting is Impervious for Colm Murphy.
The seven-year-old was a decent hurdler, but her form really has gone up a gear or three since going chasing. She's also won a pair of Graded races, most recently against the boys while giving weight away, and is a serious prospect for March.

Next in the betting is Joseph O'Brien's Scarlet And Dove at 6/1.
Before the season, she was a strong fancy of many - but with the emergence of the two novices at the top of the market, the nine-year-old is beginning to look fairly exposed and the likelihood is she'll find one or two better again.
It's 12/1 bar - with the likes of Zambella, last season's hero Elimay and Dolcita in the chasing pack.
Galia Des Liteaux for Dan Skelton at 16/1 is probably the most interesting of those at bigger prices.
She looked incredible when winning the G2 Hampton Novices' Chase, against the boys, by a widening 13L at Warwick in January. If the ground was to come up soft on that Friday of the Cheltenham Festival, she'd have a live chance.
