The weekend's football action begins in earnest with the fourth round of the FA Cup. Saturday evening sees a televised BBC One tie, between Preston North End of the Championship and Premier League Tottenham Hotspur. We've previewed the match and given you our suggested bets for the occasion.
Preston vs Spurs Tips
Preston (15/2) have had a real season of two halves, with the first portion of their season seeing endless, mainly goalless draws.
Since then, manager Ryan Lowe has employed a more attacking style and as a result has seen more clear cut results. North End haven't drawn a game for 17 matches and are hovering in mid-table in the Championship.
Spurs (3/10) meanwhile have had a similar story - storming out to a seven game unbeaten start, before six losses in their last 11 Premier League games has seen them fall away from the top four positions.
Preston overcame a spirited Huddersfield Town in the third round, whilst Spurs churned out a lacklustre win over League One Portsmouth.
Team news:
Ryan Lowe is without Emil Riis, Sean Maguire, Benjamin Whiteman and Brad Potts, who are all injured as well as Liam Delap and Troy Parrott who are ineligible to play in the FA Cup by their parent clubs.
Antonio Conte has started to get some of his injured players back, with only Lucas Moura confirmed as unavailable. Bryan Gil will be assessed pre-game to see if he is fit enough to line up in the squad.
Latest Preston vs Spurs Betfred Odds
Half Time/Full Time Result - Draw/Spurs - 3/1
Spurs are notoriously slow starters in matches and have often been far more productive in the second half, scoring on average 1.29 goals in the second half of games, compared to 0.62 in the first half.
Preston are pretty well organised defensively in the main and theres a fair chance that this game is 0-0 at half time, before Tottenham stretch their legs.
The exact same scenario played out in Spurs 3rd round victory over Pompey.
Harry Kane first goal scorer - 15/8
Harry Kane's goal scoring exploits have been cruelly overshadowed this season by a certain Norwegian robot.
The 29-year-old has scored 22 goals across all competitions this season and this same line landed recently against Crystal Palace when Kane scored the first tow goals of the game.
Betfred are running their famed Double Delight/ Hat-trick Heaven Promotion on this match, meaning should the England captain score first and then go on to score a second, you will be paid at double the odds (15/4). Should he score a 3rd, you would be paid at triple the odds (45/8).
