The SB Stadium in Berkshire is the location for Saturday's Bet of the Day. Considering we have a full array of league action, that might seem like a random choice but I like to go off the beaten path to find plays whenever I can.
Here is what I really like about the home side and their run to the fifth round of the FA Trophy. They have played three teams from a higher division than them and they've won all three and scored at least twice in two of the games. That includes a really good 2-4 win away at Tonbridge Angels in the second round.
Bracknell are one of the higher scorers in their division having scored 56 times in 23 games. What we've seen from them in both this competition and the FA Cup however is that they like scoring goals. The only times they've not hit the over two goals in any cup match this season was in a 1-0 home win over Bath and when League 1 Ipswich came to town
In league play they've hit the over 1.5 in six out of their previous seven games. Altrincham might be two leagues higher than the home side but the Manchester club do not travel well and have only won twice. Phil Parkinson (no not that one) has seen his side concede twice in five of their previous six matches in all competitions.
I know there is a bit of a class gap but the visitors have the joint-fourth worst defence in the National League this season. This should be a high-scoring affair and I really like the home side to bag at least two at pretty decent odds.
