There are three more UK race meetings taking place on Tuesday and, once more, it's jumps in the afternoon and all-weather in the evening as they go off at Leicester, Catterick and Southwell.
Our Tuesday fancies include a sprinter that looked a bit unlucky last time out, with revenge on the agenda at Southwell.
Selections
- Southwell 5.00 – Arzaak @ 7/1
- Catterick 4.15 – Betty Baloo @ 11/10
- Southwell 7.00 – Plastic Paddy @ 11/2
Tip 1
The evening card at Southwell opens with a 5f Classified Stakes and ARZAAK (7/1) is fancied to avenge his C&D second behind re-opposing Another Angel from five days ago.
The winner took the race by the scruff of the neck and fully merited his score, but Arzaak was travelling powerfully when stuck behind a wall of horses entering the final two-furlongs.
Rider Connor Beasley seemingly had to wait an age for some gaps to appear and, once in the clear, his partner closed all the way to the line but the winner was away and gone in front.
Arzaak is already a three-time C&D winner at Southwell and, with a bit more luck in the run this time, he looks primed for another Nottinghamshire success.

Tip 2
The Tim Easterby-trainer mare BETTY BALOO (11/10) got off the mark over fences when scoring over C&D back at the start of the month and she looks primed for a follow up attempt now.
She had shown ability in her first two runs over fences and appeared to appreciate the test of stamina offered on her first go at this 3m1f trip.
That form took a boost at the weekend when the runner-up Credo won with lots to spare at Warwick for Anthony Honeyball's team.
A 2lb ratings-rise looks fair and Betty Baloo meets some rivals with questions over them this afternoon, so she she's fancied to justify her spot on the Most Napped table via the Betfred Betfinder.
Tip 3
PLASTIC PADDY (11/2) and Chief's Will jostled for favouritism at Newcastle 10 days ago, the latter just edging it, but there was no battle on the track as the former cruised into contention and shot clear, with rider Jonny Peate able to have a good look around for non-existent dangers inside the final furlong as he eased his mount home.
He's up 4lb for that win but his back-form shows a tendency to string performances together and he is fancied to go well again.
The consistent Local Bay is a danger, as is the selection's stablemate Alexander James in the hands of Oisin Murphy, but Plastic Paddy will take some halting with a replication of that Newcastle win.
