The Premier League action continues this weekend as Leicester City host Tottenham Hotspur at the King Power Stadium on Saturday afternoon (15:00). We have previewed the game and provided you with our best bets for the occasion.
Leicester vs Spurs Tips
- Spurs to win @ 11/10
- Harry Kane to score anytime @ 10/11
Leicester (23/10) gave their top-flight survival hopes a much-needed boost last weekend with an emphatic 4-2 victory over Aston Villa. A timely victory for Brendan Rodgers' side, who were without a win in the Premier League since the post-World Cup resumption on Boxing Day.
The Foxes will be aiming to create more distance between themselves and the relegation zone this weekend, but Spurs (11/10) could move above Newcastle United into fourth place with a victory, at least temporarily.
Antonio Conte's men come into this game fresh off the back of recording back-to-back victories over Fulham and Manchester City, which has allowed them to re-enter the top four conversation.
Spurs are yet to win three games on the trot this term, but nevertheless arrive in the East Midlands as favourites.
Team News
Brendan Rodgers is unlikely to make too many changes after cruising to a 4-2 victory over Villa last time out, however, Jonny Evans and Boubakary Soumare have been back in training following their injuries and may be available for selection.
Wilfred Ndidi, who missed out at against Villa for personal reasons, could also be available here.
As for Spurs, Hugo Lloris has been ruled out for at least six weeks with a knee injury. The former France skipper, sustained ligament damage in Spurs' 1-0 win over Manchester City in the Premier League last Sunday.
Lucas Moura has now recovered from a tendon problem, but he did not take part against Man City, and it remains to be seen if he will be given the green light to return to action here.
Pape Sarr has now missed Tottenham's last three games in all competitions due to a hip problem, but there is a chance that the Senegal youngster could return for Saturday's contest.
Latest Leicester vs Spurs Betfred Odds
Spurs to win @ 11/10
Leicester City have failed to win any of their last four Premier League home games, and have only won two league matches in front of their own fans all season, so I expect Spurs to expose the hosts' defensive frailties.
Spurs have a decent record against the Foxes, winning four of the last five encounters between the sides, including a resounding 6-2 victory in the reverse fixture at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium back in September.
Harry Kane to score anytime @ 10/11
The Spurs sharpshooter became the club's all-time top scorer when he bagged his 200th Premier League strike in last week's 1-0 triumph over Manchester City, not to mention only Erling Haaland has scored more goals than the England captain in the top-flight this campaign.
He's also netted 20 times in 19 games against the Foxes, including both meetings last season as well as aforementioned 6-2 victory in the reverse fixture.
With that in mind, I think backing Tottenham's main man to find the back of the net this weekend is a great shout.
