New York Knicks @ Orlando Magic - Knicks (-1.5) @ 10/11
After overcoming a 20-point deficit to win a game for the first time this season, the New York Knicks will try to carry the momentum into Wednesday's matchup against the host Orlando Magic.
One night after losing 134-128 in overtime to the Los Angeles Clippers, New York rallied from a 21-point deficit to beat the Philadelphia 76ers 108-97 last time out.
The Knicks currently sit in seventh in the Eastern Conference, while the Magic are currently in 13th.
Orlando have gone 17-12 since December 7, when they were 5-20. Their recent road trip included impressive wins over the Philadelphia 76ers and Minnesota Timberwolves..
However, I'm backing the Knicks to cover the point spread in this one.
Atlanta Hawks @ New Orleans Pelicans - Pelicans on the Money Line @ 10/13
The Pelicans have won their last two matches coming into this one, while the Hawks lost to Denver 128-108 last time out.
The Pelicans routed the Kings despite the absence of three of New Orleans' top four scorers - Zion Williamson, Brandon Ingram and Jonas Valanciunas. Williamson won't play Tuesday, while Ingram and Valanciunas are day-to-day.
Similarly for Atlanta, they were without their leading scorer in Trae Young in the defeat to Denver, although it looks as though the point guard will be available for this clash.
The Pelicans were able to put together their best offensive performance of the season their last time out, despite not having Ingram and Valanciunas available, so I'm taking them on the money line here.
Minnesota Timberwolves @ Denver Nuggets - Nuggets (-6.5) @ 8/11
This will be the fourth and final meeting between these two teams this regular season, as the Timberwolves defeated the Nuggets on Sunday night.
The Nuggets rested four of their five starters last time out against Minnesota, and as a result the Timberwolves rolled to a 30-point win.
However, I'm expecting the Nuggets' starters to be back for this game, which is why I'm going to back them on the point spread here.
Denver are also 25-4 at home this season, and they lost their last game to this same Timberwolves team - they will be motivated to bounce back.
