Doncaster hosts the two-day Grimthorpe Chase Meeting this weekend, and the jumps action gets underway on Friday with eight races, starting at 13:25 and finishing at 16:50.
With the going set to be Good, good to soft in places at the South Yorkshire venue, it should be an entertaining day, and we've picked out three tips.
Doncaster Betting Tips
- 14:00 - My Bad Lucy @ 11/2
- 15:10 - Molineaux @ 10/1
- 16:50 - Ailes D'Amour @ 15/8

14:00 - My Bad Lucy @ 11/2
Nick Gifford's gelding MY BAD LUCY won over course and distance just three weeks ago, so he is bound to be respected for this Novices' Handicap Chase over three miles when up against five opponents in the second race of the day.
Gifford's charge held off the considerable challenge of Elleon here in that most recent win, and while the likes of Taste The Fear (3/1), who won here in January, and Twoshotsoftequila (7/4) are dangers, My Bad Lucy has the proven ability to rack up back-to-back victories.
Horse Racing Odds
15:10 - Molineaux @ 10/1
In what looks like a competitive Conditional Jockeys' Veterans' Handicap Chase for 10-year-olds and above at 15:10, MOLINEAUX could be the one to side with amongst the 10 runners.
He managed successive point-to-point wins last year and seems to be off a good mark returning to action after a 10-month absence.
Returning after a long spell out is expected to help rather than hinder his cause, but others to note include Up Helly Aa King (5/2), Mr Muldoon (4/1) and Brianstorm (9/1) in what should be a decent race.
Potters Legend (8/1), who has fourth-place finishes at the Cheltenham Festival and Aintree on his CV from spring 2017, is also included but looks way past his best after a recent effort at Wincanton when he could only manage a seventh-place finish out of 14.
16:50pm - Ailes D'Amour @ 15/8
AILES D'AMOUR (15/8) comes into this contest on the back of an eye-catching win at Warwick last week, in which he retains his mark due to that being a conditionals race.
That outing in the Midlands was a step up in trip after disappointing previous runs at Taunton and Fakenham, and it clearly suited, so this similar 3m½f distance should hold no fears for Ian Williams' charge now.
Seigneur Des As (9/4) won at Ludlow over fences just over a week ago and is likely to be a big player, even if he is better known as a chaser, while Ernest Gray (11/4) could also be a contender amongst the five-strong field for the finale at Doncaster.
