Thursday night sees an El Clasico taking place in the semi-final of the Copa del Rey, when Barcelona travel to their bitter rivals Real Madrid. We've previewed the fixture and provided you with some suggested bets for the match.
Real Madrid vs Barcelona Tips
- Real Madrid to win - 19/20
- #PickYourPunt: Vinicius Jr and Raphinha to score - 8/1
These two old foes have faced each other twice already this season, with honours even after Real Madrid (19/20) won 3-1 in La Liga and then Barca (5/2) reversed the scoreline in the Supercopa.
Barcelona have stretched their lead at the top of the Primera to seven points but have had a poor week, having lost to Manchester United in the Europa League and then again against Almeria at the weekend.
Real Madrid lost the chance to capitalise fully, drawing 1-1 to city rivals Atletico at the Bernabeu on Saturday.
Bragging rights will be on the line here, with the added prize of a Copa del Rey final appearance.
Team news:
Ferland Mendy and David Alaba are both unavailable for Carlo Ancelotti, due to injury and may well be joined by Rodrygo, who has a muscle problem.
Xavi is without several key players including Pedri, Ousmane Dembele and leading scorer Robert Lewandowski. Ansu Fati is also a doubt with a knee issue.
Latest Real Madrid vs Barcelona Betfred Odds
Real Madrid to win - 19/20
Ancelotti's side are unbeaten in their last six in all competitions and will see this as an opportunity lay down a marker for the second half of the season in the league.
With the likes of Fati, Dembele and in particular Lewandowski all missing out, Real will really fancy their chances of turning over the old enemy in front of their own fans.
At a price of just under evens, I'm inclined to agree.
#PickYourPunt: Vinicius Jr and Raphinha to score - 8/1
For my second selection I've taken two talented wingers to score in the 90 minutes.
Vini Jr started the La Liga season like a house on fire, with five goals in his first seven games and while his goals have dried up a little of late, his shots and shots on target output is still just as impressive.
Raphinha has just four goals in 22 games but he's also averaging 1.9 Spg and 0.5 Sotpg and with Lewa missing out here, there could be an extra impetus on the ex-Leeds man to come more central.
