The fight to stay in the Bundesliga is hotting up in Germany, and it looks like both Augsburg and Stuttgart will be in the battle until the final day as they prepare to meet on Friday night.

After 28 matches in the German top flight, Augsburg have a five-point cushion over 16th-placed Stuttgart. The latter currently occupy the relegation playoff spot, but a win on Friday could give them a huge boost heading into the final month of the campaign.

Despite having home advantage, Augsburg are considered the 2/1 outsiders for Friday's tie. Back-to-back defeats have put them back under pressure at the wrong end of the table, so it comes as no surprise to see them at that price.

Last week's 3-3 draw against Dortmund means they are now full of confidence and unbeaten in three, and they face an Augsburg side who have lost two on the spin, conceding six goals in the process.
