There are five race meetings across Britain and Ireland on Friday, with Punchestown's festival once more headlining as State Man goes for Champion Hurdle glory this evening.
In the UK, jumps racing is at Perth, Southwell and Chepstow alongside Flat action from Doncaster. The high-profile Sandown card on the Flat was abandoned on raceday morning due to heavy rainfall on Thursday leaving the ground unsafe.
Friday's NAP is taken to lower the colours of Willie Mullins in one of the non-feature events on the card at Punchestown this evening.
Selections
- Punchestown 7.10 - Monbeg Park @ 3/1
- Chepstow 7.00 - Hardy Du Seuil @ 10/3
- Doncaster 4.00 - Westerton @ 11/4
Tip 1
Willie Mullins has been barnstorming his way through the week at Punchestown, mopping up Grade 1s with the likes of El Fabiolo and Klassical Dream on Thursday, while big names State Man and Impaire Et Passe seem set to do likewise on day four of the meeting.
The Closutton maestro has favourite Sa Majeste in the SalesSense International Novice Hurdle (7.10) this evening. Mark Walsh rides the JP McManus-owned French import, who has been off the track since winning at Auteuil 341 days ago. He'll need to be smart to land this on stable bow.
Winner of a maiden hurdle over further here earlier in the season, MONBEG PARK (3/1) returns now for Sean Doyle and does so after posting a career-best at Fairyhouse (2m½f, yielding) this month when first past the post in the €60,000 Rybo Handicap Hurdle off a mark of 133.
He lost that race after being deemed to have interfered with the runner-up, but a replication of that effort on what could be favourable terms at a course he clearly handles should make him hard to beat under JJ Slevin.
He is one of few riders to get one over on the Mullins machine axis this week, partnering Fastorslow to win the Gold Cup on Wednesday evening.

Tip 2
He's got top-weight to defy in the Sun Trade Windows Handicap Hurdle (7.00) at Chepstow, but the Jamie Snowden-trained HARDY DU SEUIL (10/3) may prove up to it under Gavin Sheehan.
He has some promising form this season since going back over hurdles. He was third behind subsequent Cheltenham Festival winner Iroko at Wetherby in November and then claimed a win over Iceo at Sandown (2m, soft) in January.
The Paul Nicholls-trained runner won the Imperial Cup at Sandown next time out, a race in which Hardy Du Seuil finished seventh.
Since that, he's been back to Wetherby and finished a close second behind Alberts Back in this grade, the pair pulling a long way clear of everything else.
He has been raised 3lb, but still stands a great chance on that form and he's on the Most Napped table via the Betfred Betfinder for Friday's racing.

Tip 3
Afternoon Flat racing is now focused solely on Doncaster after Sandown were forced to abandon and trainer Alan King can get in on the winners with WESTERON (11/4) in the handicap over a mile-and-a-quarter at 4.00.
The son of Belardo took a step forward on his final start last season, finishing a close second in a Nottingham maiden as he raced beyond a mile for the first time on his third appearance.
That form was advertised by third home Like A Tiger winning his next two starts at Kempton and Newmarket either side of a winter lay-off for the James Ferguson yard.
Westerton has been gelded since last spotted and now goes up in trip on his seasonal comeback. He has course experience on Town Moor and an opening mark of 82 looks very fair.
