The Korean Business Research Institute has released the brand reputation rankings for idol groups based on their media exposure, consumer engagement, and community indexes for the month of March 20 to April 20. BTS has topped the charts with a brand reputation index of 8,645,890, representing a 26.06% increase since March. BLACKPINK secured the second spot with a brand reputation index of 7,136,906, followed by NewJeans in third place with a brand reputation index of 6,931,633.
IVE made an impressive jump of 108.29% in their score since March, securing fourth place with a brand reputation index of 5,717,670. SEVENTEEN claimed fifth place with a brand reputation index of 2,393,596.
The keyword research for BTS revealed that members Jimin, J-Hope, and Jungkook were the most searched for, and terms such as 'record,' 'enlist,' and 'donate' were the top related phrases. The group received a positivity-negativity analysis of 92.38% favorable responses.
BLACKPINK also saw a significant increase in their brand reputation index with a rise of 28.21% from the previous month. These results indicate the continued success of established groups such as BTS and BLACKPINK, as well as the potential for newer groups such as NewJeans and IVE to make their mark in the competitive K-Pop industry.
