The Foxes have looked better under interim boss Dean Smith's guidance, having beaten Wolves 2-1 at home before drawing 1-1 with Leeds last time out.

An ill-timed adductor injury to Kelechi Iheanacho is a blow ahead of the visit of Sean Dyche's side, but they should still have enough firepower to see off an Everton team who looked every inch relegation material in last week's 4-1 home defeat to Newcastle.

Dyche's side have won just one of their last 10 games and are heading for the Championship unless they can somehow improve.

With Iheanacho ruled out, Vardy seems certain to start and the former England man is as good a striker to turn to as any when a side desperately needs goals and a win.

Vardy has played only a bit-part role this season but the 36-year-old won the penalty which earned them the equaliser against Wolves and then fired the vital equaliser at Elland Road to suggest he's ready to play a leading role again in the run-in.
