Arsenal will bid farewell to '22/23 on Sunday afternoon and reflect, surely, on what might have been ..
For a great chunk of the season they were the story. The headline-makers. The ability to keep sub-editors on their toes hasn't diminished, but the narrative nose-dived from Kings-in-waiting to calamitous disappointment.
A home fixture against Wolves will draw a line under proceedings, and anything less that an emphatic home victory is hard, for me at least, to envisage. However you view things, it's been one heck of a ride for Senor Arteta's men.

Team news
For the Gunners, Saka and Trossard are doubts going into this one. Longer-term absences such as Zincenko, Saliba and Martinelli have been a considerable and costly nuisance.
Wolves are thought to have no fresh issues bar their own longer-term difficulties for the likes of Kalajdzic and Chiquinho.

Jesus to score at any time
IF Saka and Trossard are struggling, and with that long-term Martinelli absence still biting, the striking onus is very much on Arsenal's former Manchester City Brazilian. He's done exceptionally well in this first season, and more than played his part in his team's fantastic form for around 2/3rds of the campaign.
They were just irresistible in those first few months, and he looked as if he'd been in north London for years, not weeks. I'm backing him to get on the scoresheet for a thoroughly-deserved flourish. He, and Arsenal, will no doubt be back.
Arsenal to win to nil
Wolves are shot-shy. Their current total number of goals scored is the lowest in the Prem. Even Southampton, the bottom club, have netted one more. This could of course be the chance, with nothing tangible at stake, to let loose. There's always that possibility.
But I'm banking on Arsenal wanting to put on a show for the terrific support they've received all year, staying firmly on the front foot, and keeping those in old gold far too busy protecting their own territory.
Whatever transpires it should be a cracking, carnival 'thank you' from the Emirates faithful to a side who for many months entertained and enthralled in equal measure. I'm thinking circa 4-0 territory, which is a 14/1 shot.
