A late season run has put Bournemouth level on points with Chelsea. Had you said that at the start of the season, you'd be wondering just what European competition the Cherries were set to play in but things haven't exactly gone to plan for the Stamford Bridge club. We preview the game set for a 3PM kick-off on Saturday afternoon…

When assigning myself this game, I did so before seeing the top-level Match Result Market odds and when I checked them out, it was like a Looney Toons cartoon with my eyes coming out of my face.
Chelsea are not a very good side. They are playing with confidence levels so low that words cannot do it justice. Frank Lampard's side have such an array of attacking talent that they should be one of the most exciting sides to watch in the division. However, the reality is very different as they are completely toothless and clueless at the top end of the pitch. The transfer dealings have so far been an absolute disaster and the performances have been indicative of a team lacking an identity. No wins in their past nine in all competitions with their best result by far being a 0-0 home draw against Liverpool. That quite simply isn't good enough.
So all in all, pretty positive huh?
Yet, despite everything I've written, they are the betting favourites to walk away from Saturday's game at the Vitality with the three points. The traders and punters are just not ready to give up on them and still, despite all the evidence to the contrary, expect them to come good. You can back them at 21/20 to win the game. Both Bournemouth and the Draw are priced up at 5/2.
Whilst Frank Lampard has been getting pelters for his lack of managerial prowess during his interim stint at Chelsea, his opposite number at the weekend has been receiving plenty of praise for dragging Bournemouth away from the drop zone.
Gary O'Neil came through the ranks just across the River Solent at Portsmouth, earning the nickname Paperboy because he always delivered. Well it looks like he's delivered another season of Premier League football for the Cherries despite many pundits saying he had no chance to keep them up.
They've won four of their past five including three wins on the road, something extremely tough to do when you are struggling. A 1-0 win at the King Power was followed by an incredible 3-2 victory at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and when they beat relegation rivals Southampton at St Mary's, it was a strong indicator of just an impressive job this first-time manager has done.
I've gone for Bournemouth to win. They have won four from their past five and are riding high confidence wise. Chelsea could conceivably lose every game between now and the end of the season. Seeing the visitors as the betting favourites really doesn't sync up to what we've seen in recent weeks.
In addition my top prop bet is one that was a strong one last season but has been a bit harder to convert this time around. Bournemouth midfielder Jefferson Lerma has always been good for a booking but has only had his name taken six times this season. That has come with three in his previous seven however so at 9/4, I'll throw that in as being due and a small bit of value.
Many of you love a small dabble on the Correct Score Market and I've got the home side winning 2-0. Backing the visitors to score is a tough one the way they've played in their past few games and the 16/1 price on offer feels big.
