It seems the somewhat obvious thing to predict a draw in 90 minutes, but that's not without reason.
Just take a look at Jose Mourinho's Roma's approach to the second leg of their semi-final tie with Bayer Leverkusen. Five at the back. 28% possession. 1 shot - of which none were on target.
I'm not criticising, for we know Mourinho is a master at getting results when it matters - evidenced by the fact he's never lost a European final. Sevilla, on the other hand, have never lost a Europa League final, but something's got to give.
I'm expecting a tight, low-scoring affair that will need extra-time and/or penalties to find a winner.
Most Booking Points - Roma
I mentioned Roma's 28% possession against Leverkusen last time out in the UEL and it wouldn't surprise me if we see something similar on Wednesday night. In turn, this will mean a lot of defending for the Italians, which should see the Europa Conference League title holders receive the most booking points in normal time.
Roger Ibanez to be carded
If I'm correct and Roma do receive the most booking points, I'd be shocked if Roger Ibanez isn't one of the names in the referee's notebook.
He's been carded a whopping 15 times in 47 games in all competitions this season, which is just over an average of one every three games. They're significant numbers and with the amount of defending the Brazilian is likely to be doing in Budapest, I'm prepared to chance he'll pick up one more for the season.
