It's a non-stop day of racing action across Britain and Ireland on Tuesday with no fewer than seven meetings and 49 races scheduled.
Flat racing comes from Brighton, Leicester and Redcar in the afternoon, before evening action from Lingfield, Nottingham and Tipperary, with a jumps card from Ballinrobe completing the schedule.
Our Tuesday fancies include one for Archie Watson headed for Brighton aiming to register a first win on turf after successes on the all-weather previously.
Selections
- Brighton 4.10 - Barging Thru @ 11/2
- Leicester 5.05 - Urban Champion @ 13/2
- Nottingham 7.55 - Laheg @ 9/2
Tip 1
Trainer Archie Watson will be hoping that BARGING THRU (11/2) is ready to bag a first turf success at Brighton this afternoon.
The Profitable gelding is a three-time all-weather scorer, gaining slender successes at Chelmsford and Wolverhampton over 5f/7f across the last two years.
Last year was interrupted but he's managed to put a sequence of runs together on the all-weather this year, including that Chelmsford win in March off this rating.
Taylor Fisher claims 5lb in the saddle here to offset his top-weight burden and Barging Thru should have a major say on the forecast fast surface. The 4YO is on the Most Napped table via the Betfred Betfinder for Tuesday's action and is taken to justify that slot.

Tip 2
Last season's three-run sequence didn't offer much for URBAN CHAMPION (13/2) as he started at three-figure prices in all instances and never really threatened.
He returned from a lay-off/wind op this month at Wolverhampton upped to 1m1½f for his handicap bow and was not unfancied at 11/2 before finishing second to the improving Blue Yonder, who readily backed up his previous Beverley turf win.
Urban Champion was clear second-best however and, nudged up a mere 1lb by the assessor, should have decent claims of going one better now with Tom Marquand an eye-catching jockey booking.
This trip is clearly within his wheelhouse and Urban Champion looked one to note on that seasonal bow 18 days ago.

Tip 3
LAHEG (9/2) won a novice event last September over 6f on fast ground at Haydock in September 2012 and twice more had his head in front when it mattered on the all-weather at Chelmsford and Wolverhampton in late 2022.
The 4YO shaped with promise again at Lingfield in March (beaten a head) before coming up short on Good Friday in deep waters at the Surrey venue on the Polytrack.
Since that he's had one turf appearance, beaten just over two-lengths in a Class 3 Hamilton contest this month where he essentially ran as the market anticipated.
He drops in class now for this Nottingham sprint and has a pair of first-time blinkers to aid him in a race where he should be going close on form for Marco Botti and Jack Mitchell.
