Wahala for who still dey pay tithes and offering in 21st century oo.

According to multiple accounts, the general overseer of Citadel Global Community Church formerly known as Latter Rain Assembly, Pastor Tunde Bakare is barely afloat in an oceanic debt of 9 billion naira which he is allegedly owing a Nigerian bank.

The many reports on the story say that WEMA Bank is allegedly making frantic efforts to recover the loan given to the pastor which he used to build the 5,000-seater auditorium, annexes, atrium, library, food court, amongst other things.

The bank allegedly gave a ₦4.5 billion loan to the pastor without a collateral due to his friendship with its former Managing Director, Segun Olekutoyi. Olekutoyi has now left his position and Bakare's loan has risen to a staggering ₦9 billion.

Unfortunately for the pastor, he did not —or could not— foresee the COVID-19 lockdown logically or spiritually. Lol

He completed The Citadel quickly enough to generate enough money to help him pay off the loan but 2020 brought the lockdown which prohibited churches and public spaces from operating.

Many prophets prophesied at the end of 2019, as they do annually on their television evangelism, but none of them saw a virus causing a pandemic. Instead, the pandemic caught most of them unawares, affecting attendance, payment of tithe, and offerings.

MY THOUGHTS

So your Daddy GO approached a bank to  borrow 4.5billion loan in other to build his dream church, the bank approved the loan based on how many members and how much  Offerings and tithes the members  are contributing weekly/ Monthly plus the opportunity to increase the Sheep of god once the building is finished.

Your Daddy GO sees you as  collateral,  the Bank sees you as an asset, you see yourself as god's child  enjoying gods presence  in 4.5billion   Auditorium  while hoping god should change your poverty situation from bad to good.

Your mumu no too much?

Happy new year in advance.
