I'm afraid it's not very creative, but I think TAHIYRA will win the 1000 Guineas.
I opposed Aidan O'Brien's well-fancied Auguste Rodin in my 2000 Guineas preview, which hopefully proves a wise decision come shortly after 3.40 on Saturday, but in this case I think the favourite is pretty solid.
Dermot Weld's daughter of Siyouni ran just twice as a two-year-old but looked a world-beater on both occasions - firstly when making light work of the now 95-rated Dower House in a fillies' maiden at Galway in July last year before taking the G1 Moyglare Stud Stakes at the Curragh a couple of months later in impressive fashion.
She beat Aidan O'Brien's Meditate, who's currently our second favourite for Sunday's race, by a widening 2¼L that day, which without question represents the best form on offer in this field.
No matter what the ground is, she'll cope fine - and there's absolutely no reason to suggest the step up to a mile will bother her.
So, Tahiyra is my main fancy for the race, but I'm also suggesting an each-way saver on MAWJ for Saeed bin Suroor.
The Godolphin filly was a Group 2-winning sprinter as a juvenile but was upped in trip to 7f and then later a mile at Meydan at the start of the year and won both times.
Her last performance, when taking the Jumeirah Fillies Guineas by an emphatic 8½L, was top notch, not only suggesting that the daughter of Exceed And Excel is improving with age but also that the trip is more up her street.
She doesn't have much to find with the likes of Meditate and Lezoo on her two-year-old form over shorter trips, so can see her running a huge race under Oisin Murphy.
